Origin of Jut Seeds
Jut is the colloquial name given to the lucky packet weed that you pick up on from some dude you met hanging around at the local petrol station. After a bit of haggling, you walk away with a matchbox of green stuff. What it is or where it comes from is part of the intrigue and mystery. It has the potential to blow the top of your head off, or below-grade, low-grade junk no grade twigs and seeds. Most of the “street weed”, “Jut” sold in South Africa has a naturally mixed origin which depends on what part of South Africa you are in.
Round these parts however, we try to keep it on the straight and narrow but sometimes we just land up with unlabeled seed packs or some exotic male sneaks into a growers patch an produces a hybrid strain not suitable for landrace.
